Actiff Equine Calcified Plus

This combines all the benefits of the natural sources of calcium and magnesium and the Marinure liquid seaweed in one granule. It raises the soil pH, flocculates the clay particles, adds trace elements and stimulates the roots. Being a granule, it spreads more easily through spinners and is active more quickly in the soil. Most fields need 4 bags per acre every other year, but check your pH first. This product can be applied throughout most of the year.

Paddock Grazing Mix

This is a ryegrass free blend of grass species and varieties which are high in fibre and less digestible. They include a combination of hardy and creeping species best suited to keeping your sward intact and repairing the sward after heavy use. These more traditional species are a little more expensive but are more suitable for equines than the more highly “improved” species and varieties used in modern agriculture. In addition we have added a legume for its mineral rich content and its soils improvement characteristics but it is also known to be safe for horses.

Drought Resistant Mix

Also a ryegrass free blend, containing a combination of hardy and creeping grass species and varieties best suited to keeping your sward intact and repairing the sward after heavy use. The drought resistant mix also has the benefit of coping better in free draining soils or spells of drier weather. It can be used on its own as a sward for free draining soil at a rate of 1.5 bags per acre, or top up an existing sward, or in combination with our Paddock Grazing Mix Contents: Timothy, Meadow Fescue, Cocksfoot.

Seabed

This is a stable deodorising powder, for use on all stable floor surfaces, rubber matting included, and under bedding. Suggested usage rates are a large handful per square metre. It comes in a convenient bucket with lid for easy storage.

Tubtrugs and Covers

Ideal when feeding all types of feed, especially soaked products! Made from recycled materials, they are easy to carry, strong, durable and flexible. Material covers to fit both sizes of tubs are also available.

Buc-kit

A kit to help make up feed rations for your horse. A handy bucket with handle and lid, containing five different sized scoops. Also included is an informative, laminated measures guide detailing how much each scoop holds of the different Simple System feed products.
