Below are short summaries of our horse feeds. Lucerne Products

Lucie Nuts Pure pelletted lucerne. Lucerne (alfalfa) is naturally low in sugars, high in vitamins & minerals and good quality protein. More info	Lucie Cobs Sun-dried lucerne chop compressed into convenient chunks. Soak in water for a moist, palatable, green chop.
Lucie Stalks A low calorie, high fibre chop made of pure lucerne stalks. Ideal for good doers, providing bulk without calories. Safe for laminitics More info	GreenGold A pure, flash-dried lucerne chop with nothing added and nothing taken away.
Top Nosh A balanced blend of highly nutritious ingredients with nothing artificial and as like all our feed range totally free from all cereal products, by products, molasses and additives. More info	Lucie Brix All the benefits of pure Lucerne, compressed into 1kg (approx.) block. We suggest that these are fed whole and dry to mimic grazing, which may reduce the tendency to chew wood. Easy and convenient to feed.

Other Forages

PuraBeet Pure, unmolassed beet pulp, an excellent source of easily digestible soluble fibre, so it has the effect almost of feeding oil as the fibre is converted to free fatty acids by the gut flora. More info	Blue Bag Grass Pellets Pure mature summer grass with high fibre levels. Like feeding good summer grass all year round!
Red Bag Grass Pellets Pure spring grass with an energy provision greater than oats. Ideal for fast growing youngsters or hard-working, competing horses. More info	JustGrass Use as a chop or hay replacer and to accustom horses to grass again before spring turnout. Mixed species of grass, providing a softer, more palatable chop with lower levels of natural sugars.
RuffStuff A high fibre, pure mature grass chop ideal for good doers, natives and resting horses/ponies More info	EnduroComplete Complete feed, requiring no soaking based on lucerne with a raft of other nourishing ingredients including linseed, seaweed, brewers’ yeast, beet pulp and salt. Ideal when travelling and staying away from home for competitions

Complementary Feeds

Instant Linseed Ready cooked and ready to feed, with all the well documented benefits of good levels of omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. Linseed is also renowned for its anti-oxidant effects. High nutritive value builds condition and improves stamina. More info	Pure Ocean Seaweed The single variety we use, Ascophylum nodosum, concentrates the sea’s minerals into a bio-available and balanced form and, unlike other varieties, does not supply too much iodine. An excellent source of trace elements to strength hair and horn and boost the immune system.
Traditional Brewers' Yeast The perfect natural source of a wide range of B vitamins, Brewers’ Yeast has long been a favourite of horse keepers. Helps to support horses with behavioural problems, prone to anxiety, mareishness and travel stress. More info	Total Eclipse A carefully balanced blend of Instant Linseed, Pure Ocean Seaweed and Brewers’ Yeast, Total Eclipse is the ultimate forage balancer. High levels of nutrients in a slow release form ensure that equilibrium is maintained mentally and physically.
Lunar Eclipse Linseed-based balancer, developed specifically for moody mares, hormonally challenged, stressed and temperamental equines. Suitable for pregnant mares in last 3 months of pregnancy and first month of lactation. More info	Eclipse Recovery A natural tonic based on fermented wild flower forages from Austria, with horseradish as well as linseed and seaweed. We often suggest it as a course to give horses a boost after surgery and antibiotic treatment, and to help get them back on track, rebalancing the gut population with fibre digesting bugs.
MetaSlim A carefully sourced and balanced complementary feed, developed in consultation with a leading Veterinary Surgeon to optimize blood sugar levels, insulin effectiveness and metabolic rate. Appropriate for horses and ponies which are prone to laminitis, overweight, have fat pads or crests and appear depressed. More info	Garlic Granules Ours is pure, whole garlic, nothing added or removed, so is very strong. Garlic has well-documented health benefits including helping to maintain circulation of the blood.
Justamint Pure herbal spearmint, finely cut, which horses love. Fussy eaters are encouraged by the addition of a little to the feed. More info	PuraMint Pellets The natural way to feed peppermint. A Pure Herbal Mint pellet at a 1/3 of the price of a Polo! No sugar, no glucose, no modified starch. Ideal as a training aid/treat.
Organic Cider Vinegar A full-strength organic cider vinegar, described by some as nature’s secret recipe and thought to have many health-promoting properties. More info	Pure Salt Lick Bucket A pure organic salt lick in a new, tougher bucket. A safe and easy way to make this important electrolyte available ad lib in the field or stable.

Actiff Equine Calcified Plus A paddock conditioner which combines all the benefits of the natural sources of calcium and magnesium and the Marinure liquid seaweed in one granule. It raises the soil pH, flocculates the clay particles, adds trace elements and stimulates the roots. More info	Paddock Grazing Mix A ryegrass free blend, containing a combination of hardy and creeping grass species and varieties, more suitable for equines than the more highly “improved” species and varieties used in modern agriculture.
Drought Resistant Mix A ryegrass free blend, containing a combination of hardy and creeping grass species and varieties. This drought resistant mix also has the benefit of coping better in free draining soils or spells of drier weather. More info	Seabed A stable deodorising powder, for use on all stable floor surfaces, rubber matting included, and under bedding.
Tubtrugs and Covers Ideal when feeding all types of feed, especially soaked products! Made from recycled materials, they are easy to carry, strong, durable and flexible. Material covers to fit both sizes of tubs are also available. More info	Buc-kit A kit to help make up feed rations for your horse.
